A three dimensional board game of strategy and addictive fun! In Rampage, up to 4 players each take control of
a monster trying to destroy Meeple City in a quest to satisfy their hunger with some tasty meeples.

Sponsored by Mark Miladinovich of MarkoramaGames.com, local store owner and Franklin resident will instruct you on how to play the Game of Rampage.

In each 45 minute class, adults and children, sit, dance and have fun experiencing music, rhythmic rhymes, movement activities, and instrumental jam sessions.  There will be drums of all sorts, bells, triangles, shakers, rhythm sticks, scarves, maracas, and more!

Registration is limited, and must be done separately for each session you wish to attend.  Registration begins August 30.

Sussex County Oratorio Society "I Love Paris" concert

@ the Sussex Wantage Branch

Sunday, September 14 @ 3:00 PM

Join us as we welcome the Sussex County Oratorio Society's talented members for an afternoon concert featuring a variety of French and English compositions including Cole Porter's "I Love Paris".  Please bring your own chairs and blankets to this outdoor event.  

Pick up FREE tickets  at the Sussex-Wantage Library's Circulation desk during library hours.  Please note that in the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held indoors in the library's community room.

The entire family is invited.  No registration needed.

Mini Maker Faire @ the Sussex-Wantage Branch

A Maker Faire is an event to celebrate arts, crafts, engineering, science projects and the do-it-yourselfers of all ages.

We are hoping to have stations for machine dissection, mini-computers, gardening, textile crafts, and more.  We will be having sign-ups for those who would like to see future programs.

We will have special events such as "Make an International Day of Peace Pinwheel" for all ages and a "SUGRU Build Night" for grades 7 through adults.

No registration needed.  Come and go as you please.

   

Sing with Me Family Music Class @ the Sussex-Wantage Branch

R. E. A. D. Book Club @ the Main Library

Fourth Saturday of each month at 2 PM for kids ages 8 - 11 only.

The R. E. A. D. (Reading Excites Average Days) Book Club started in the summer and it wants to keep going!  Activities, friendship, great books and of course - fun!

Hurricane Sandy Sculpture

@ the Sussex-Wantage Branch

Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 PM

Families and children of all ages, especially aspiring young artists who want to learn about working with wood, are invited to come see the award winning sculpture "Hurrican Sandy Brought to Justice in Sussex County" and learn about how it was made.  The artist, Dan Freed, will share his inspiration for the sculpture created from broken trees left behind by the storm.  He will show examples of materials that he used, many of which are touchable by little hands, as well as a range of tools and wood working techniques.  Expecially enjoyable for ages 8 and up, although all ages are welcome.

Register beginning September 13.

 

   

Bedtime Math @ 3 libraries!

Geared to preschoolers through grade 3.

Bedtime Math is a nonprofit organization that "helps kids love math like playtime or dessert."  We will be featuring their ideas in three special evening story times this fall.
